This post was imported from a blog called Contemporation where Amy and I wrote about the renovation of our 80’s contemporary home in Atlanta. That blog is no more but I wanted the content to live on.
Just a day after my last post, our contractor came by personally to deliver the news that our building permit was approved. It took a week to get everything lined up, but our porta-potty was delivered last night (A lovely ½ bath, wouldn’t you say?) and then a crew arrived early this morning to start tearing down the old block wall.
I never posted a picture of the area where the addition is going to go so I figured I better do so this morning before work began. The light was pretty low at 7am so they’re a little grainy, but it doesn’t matter because it’s going to look completely different by the time I get home today.
